XIII UAL Astronomical Conference: Sara García Alonso's Meeting with Women Scientists from Our University

As part of the XIII Astronomical Conference organized by the University of Almería, an inspiring meeting took place last Thursday, May 15, between astronaut Sara García Alonso and around twenty female researchers from different centers of the UAL, including prominent scientists from the CIESOL center.

The event, held at the UAL Auditorium, enabled an enriching exchange of experiences and knowledge in the field of science and technology. Sara García, a member of the European Space Agency’s (ESA) reserve astronaut corps, shared her career path and reflected on the challenges and opportunities women face in the aerospace and scientific fields in general.
